Open the safety checklistTransferring a carta contemplada is done by cessão and must be approved by the administrator. Having your paperwork organised speeds the process and avoids back-and-forth. Here's what is usually required.
Buyer documents (individual)
- Photo ID (RG or driver's licence).
- CPF.
- Recent proof of address.
- Proof of income or ability to pay, as required by the administrator.
Buyer documents (company)
- Articles of association and the latest amendment.
- CNPJ card.
- Documents of the responsible partners.
- Financial proofs, per the administrator's policy.
On the seller and the share side
- Up-to-date share statement from the administrator.
- Personal (or company) documents of the current holder.
- Confirmation of the contemplation status and no pending issues.
How approval works
With the documents submitted, the administrator reviews the new holder's profile and the share status. Once the cessão is approved, the credit becomes available to the buyer. Liberty Carta organises this brokerage stage and follows the paperwork with you. We are not a consortium administrator.
